The Day After...

After a windy and cloudy day yesterday, and amazingly almost no rain, we are having a windy and partly cloudy day this morning. I think we are in about a 75 mile area in the whole state of Florida that will have gotten no rain from Fay. It should be in the upper 80's today, and although it doesn't look like we are going to have anymore perfect days here the rest of the week, it should be nice enough to spend plenty of time down on the beach.

Last night at about 2 a.m. I woke up to hear a bunch of kids down on the beach. From what I could see, it looked like they were taking advantage of the winds from the NW making some fairly good waves to body board. In the last 24 hours we have seen the wind come from the East and rotate all the way around to coming from the North, and now the Northwest.

Shouldn't need to really update anymore weather conditions, I know the storm is forcasted to cross back over Florida, but well to the North of us. I think we are just in for a windy rest of the week because of it.
