Halloween, Uncle Travis & Aunt Kasia, Mom's Birthday

Sorry for the long time since our last post. We have been really busy!

We were very excited on Halloween for the arrival of Uncle Travis and Aunt Kasia. They came out from Oregon to spend a week in Indiana. They got up very early to get here in time for trick or treating. As they walked in the door, Uncle Trav was greeted to "Happy Birthday!" from the kids while wearing his famous Scottish hat and red hair. They were excited to celebrate his 28th birthday! They decorated his chair (a now family birthday tradition) and couldn't wait to show him the cake they helped make.

For trick or treating, Austin dressed up as a race car driver in Lightening McQueen style and Caitlin finally settled on Snow White after a last minute change from Belle. It was a little chilly, but the kids made their way around the neighborhood for almost an hour and took in a nice haul. It seemed like there were more kids than ever, and as always, it was very cute to see what all the kids in the neighborhood dressed up as.

During the week, Trav and Kasia got to see Caitlin in her dance class, Austin in his basketball class, and both at their school. It was a big deal to the kids when they picked them up and met all of their friends. They got to spend a lot of fun time at the Children's Museum, as well. I know the kids had a great time and loved that they were here. They already are saying how they miss them so you know it was a visit that the kids will remember for a long time, and was awesome just to see them love the kids and to see how much fun the kids had playing with them.

Travis and Kasia also got a chance to see a couple of Pacer games, see where I work, go shopping and explore downtown Indy some, and eat 3 pitas each at the Pita Pit in a total of about 6 hours of being in Downtown Indy. They appreciate your business and are sorry to see you go!

Yesterday, Kim had her birthday. It was kind of a hectic day with a lot going on, but it is always great to let her know how special she is and what a great wife and mom she is. Aunt Bubs is going to watch the kids this evening so I can take Kim out to dinner. It will be great to have a nice evening together.

I have attached the pictures we took this past week. It was a great week, and we are sad that it went so quickly. We hope that Travis and Kasia have a great week with Kasia's family as they continue their vacation, and we can't wait to see you guys again! Enjoy!
