The Big Game

Unfortunately the Boilers came out on the losing end, but we all had a blast.  Both kiddos fell asleep on the way up there so we had a meltdown free experience!

At first it was a little overwhelming for Austin.  His initial reaction when attending games is classic...he gets VERY serious & if you talk to him or touch him, LOOK OUT!  He doesn't want to be disturbed while taking it all in!  Yesterday we were fortunate enough to have GREAT seats (3 rows behind Boiler bench) and a Big Ten guy came over with the game ball asking Austin if he wanted to scuff it up a bit.  Austin stared straight ahead and shook his head "no".  UNHEARD OF for him to EVER turn down a basketball!!!  :)

After awhile he got into it.  Mostly asking Ryan lots of questions and enjoying the atmosphere.  Of course, Caitlin was loving the cheerleaders!  She got some black & gold pom-poms and chose a foam finger for Austin.

When the game ended we decided to stop for dinner before heading back home.  We ended up at "Peppers" again!!!  LOL!
