A couple weeks ago I bought a nice big doggie bed for our aging Hoops...he has yet to sleep in it...it's main occupants are Austin and Caitlin. They love to lounge on it and watch tv in our room. It's so funny to see! When they're not on it, the cats are! Hoops will not be bribed off of our bed....dang it!
Also, Caitlin had a MUCH better afternoon today...only one or two minor crying episodes but nothing like yesterday. I tried to give her extra cuddles and heap on the praise when she was behaving appropriately. One of my theories is that, although she loves it, "Pinkalicious" is a little scary to her. I made a point to remind her (and Austin) that the story is only pretend and she will NEVER turn pink (or any other color) from eating too much of something. Hey, I'm trying to cover all the bases....any possible thing that may be upping her anxiety level, I'm trying to address. Could be illness, lack of sleep, dad's travel, the chaos that is our home, just being 3 and a half...like I said, we've got our detective hats on...
Off to bed!!!!
